David Laird conducts his litigation practice with honesty, integrity, and a ”never say die” attitude. As an attorney in Moye White’s Trial Section, David is driven to find a just result for clients in complex civil litigation matters.

With substantial experience in both established and emerging industries, David works with clients at all stages of the business lifecycle to preserve and defend corporate interests in disputes. He also serves as a proactive advisor, working to develop long-term best practices geared to avoid future litigation claims.

In the realm of civil litigation, David vigorously and effectively represents client interests in matters ranging from employment disputes to officer and director responsibility, lender liability, trade secret litigation, personal injury defense, real estate litigation, and general contract disputes.

David’s construction experience extends from contract negotiations and insurance to assertion and defense of construction claims of owners, HOAs, general contractors, tradesmen, and suppliers in public and private construction projects. He also represents clients involved in securities litigation, including broker-dealer disputes and securities fraud.

With an eye toward efficient and positive solutions, David advocates for clients in court,  administrative proceedings, on appeal, and via alternative methods of dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration.

Dave is admitted to practice in Colorado, before the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
